Our member stores are located nationwide and are considered to be among Ireland's experts in natural healthcare. The purpose of the Health store is to educate and to inform, to give you, the consumer, an opportunity to explore and sample new products.
The IAHS represents a wide variety of healthstores. To reflect the different styles of modern healthfood retailing we have different membership categories, as follows:
Full members: All full member stores will have all staff fully trained according to section 2 of the > IAHS code of ethics. Full member stores are identified to the general public by the current year's logo on window or door. They are also identified below by the IAHS Logo.
Provisional/ Affiliate members: Stores which are newly opened or under new management & awaiting accreditation, and therefore are ineligible at present for full membership. Such stores have access to IAHS training & may have trained staff on the shop floor.
Associate members: Larger companies or multiple stores, which do not meet the criterion of independence, and who wish to support and be associated with the work of the IAHS. Such stores have access to IAHS training & may have trained staff on the shop floor.
